Today, I decided to skip my weekly blog entry, and go off on a rant. This week I discovered that the band PIL is coming to Minneapolis, and going to play at First Avenue. John Lydon is a MAGA pos. After what has happened in the Twin Cities for the last few months, shame on anyone for giving $ to a POS who supports a pedo/rapist man responsible for the war in Iran AND the terrorizing of the immigrant communities. Shame on First Avenue for booking PIL. They clearly care more about $ since the Dave Chapelle debacle several years ago, and has learned nothing from Operation Metro Surge. At this point, anything the people at First Avenue and other venues they own is all performative and meaningless words. I won't call for a boycott since I am going to the Snow Tha Product show next month, but I am big on public shaming the venue now and in the future if they continue booking problematic artists. There really is no excuse to NOT know what an asshole Lydon has become in recent years.  

Shame on anyone who plans on attending the show. I am also going to shame on those thinking of attending the show (or any PIL show on their upcoming tour). I am an absolutist when it comes denigrating people who will want to see PIL and their asshole frontman. There is no middle ground when it comes to supporting or not supporting fascist lovers. Human rights is not an issue with that can be debated. You are either a racist, misogynist, Islamophobic, anti-LGBT (especially transphobic) fuckwad or you are not. Pick a lane and stay in it.
