Playlist of the Week

Last week, I discovered Japanese singer/songwriter Noriko Sekiguchi who performs under the guise of POiSON GiRL FRiEND. I came across her music on Spotify. The first release I listened to by Noriko was her 1992 EP Melting Moment , and then to her 2018 album das Gift .  I immediately loved what I heard from Noriko. Her music is very low key with her breathy vocals and laid back electronic beats. Very mellow music. Almost reminds me of Nouvelle Vogue. I ended up creating a playlist of all her music for when I just in a mood to listen to her music in shuffle mode or for my afternoon work outs.
