My Top 5 Current Favorite Albums of the Week

Over a week ago, I discovered the Japanese metal band First Contact on Instagram. First Contact is a new project by Ryu of Blood Stain Child which features Sawa (Aldious), MaoMao, and Tan Tan. They recently dropped their debut album over a week ago, and I have been listening to it incessantly. It is so good. I definitely recommend this album for fans of Lovebites. 

In recent weeks, NPR's All Songs Considered introduced me to the singer/songwriters Molly Tuttle and Kathleen Edwards, and the experimental electronica act Disniblud.
