10 albums I listened to the most this summer

Now that it is August, I thought I would post the albums I listened to the most over the summer. I based this list on my monthly lists from May to July. I will do a far longer list when it is officially autumn. but in the meantime here is a sample of what I have been listening to the most this summer. 

Ever since I saw Joe Hisaishi live in Chicago with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, I have been listening a lot to his music. That and given the way the world is going, his work with Studio Ghibli has been my comfort music. I am seeing Joe again in Chicago next year but he will be performing his own music outside of Studio Ghibli. I am excited for that trip, and later in 2027 I plan on hauling ass to Toronto for the staged production of Spirited Away. Tickets goes on sale this October. I plan on seeing it 2x while in Toronto.
