Album of the Week

Over the weekend, I was reading a few best of 2021 lists. The lists I saw all mentioned Arooj Aftab's second album Vulture Prince. Arooj Aftab is a Brooklyn based Pakastani artist.  People can read about her in this Yahoo article "I don't deserve to be other-ized anymore"; Arooj Aftab on becoming a Grammy nominee . It is worth a read. After reading the lists and then learning that Arooj was nominated for a Grammy in the Best New Artist category, I decided to listen to Vulture Prince a listen. I am so glad I decided to give her music a listen to, her music truly lives up to what music critics have written up about it and why the album is on their best of 2021 lists. The music is so soothing to listen to especially on a cold winter's night.
