Album of the week

Last week, Danheim released a new album called Skapanir. If you have never heard of Danheim, it is a musical project from Danish producer Mike Olsen. His music is very reminiscent of other Nordic folk/Viking inspired acts like SKALD, Heilung, and Wardruna. I discovered Danheim after finding Heilung on Spotify. I have been listening to the album every damn day. I love the fact that Mike blends traditional Nordic folk music with modern electronic music. I listen to this album at work but I also love listen to it after work when I am winding down after  a long day at the office.
