Earworm of the Week

A couple of weeks ago, I discovered the Japanese heavy metal/pop/rock singer Mari Hamada. I found her song "Return to Myself"  from her 1989 album Return to Myself on YouTube by accident. Within seconds of the song playing, I was automatically hooked. The song is so 1980s with its mix of rock and new wave. "Return to Myself" is my personal favorite song by Mari. The song is ridiculously catchy. I have been listening to the song 2-3x a day for the past 2 weeks.

I have only listened to 2 of her other albums, and it will take me awhile to get through her catalog on Spotify. I really like what I have heard from Mari so far.
