Album of the Week

Last week, Swedish post-punk band Makthaverskan released a new album For Allting. I discovered Makthaverskan a few years ago via Westkust (thanks to NPR's All Songs Considered), which includes a couple of members of Makthaverskan. I immediately became a fan of both bands. I loved their blend of jingly guitar riffs and the energy of garage punk. Of course for this week's Album of the Week, I chose Makthaverskan's new album For Allting. I have been listening to the album every day. The album is excellent from the opening track "(-)" to the closing track "Maktologen".
