Taking a break

 I'm taking a break from blogging and tweeting. I need to try to find some joy this weekend and to take care of myself.  I am emotionally and physically drained from the news but especially the news of another Asian American woman being murdered (Collegues around the world remembers Julia Li who was randomly gunned down in her car ). First it was Michelle Go, then Christina Yuna Lee, and now Julia Li. I feel like a target has been placed on my back as an Asian American woman. I am tired of the violence. I am tired of being continually seen as a foreigner in a country I have spent most of my 47 years in. I am tired of the microaggressions I have been on the receiving end due to Covid. I'm just tired. I'll be back to blogging and tweeting on Monday.
