Playlist of the Week

Last week, I discovered the Taiwanese artists Nini Music via YouTube. I wanted to see if I could find some more Taiwanese metal bands other than Solemn, Chthonic, and Frost Tears. Lo and behold, my search resulted in the MV for LongMa . 

According to her website, Nini Music has grew up in Taiwan and played and studied traditional Chinese traditional folk music for over 20 years. Her music is a delightful mix of modern metal and EDM, and traditional folk music. Over the weekend put a playlist of all her music (2 EPs, and a bunch of singles). Her covers of "Hurt", "Dream On", and "Don't Fear the Reaper" are breathtaking to listen to.  Nini is planing a fall tour. I hope this includes the US and a visit in the midwest (i.e Minnesota).
