My 100 Current Favorite Artists and Bands

I am pretty sure I created a list about my favorite artists and bands but it has been 10 years since I started this blog. I really do not feel like digging around to look for similar post. I felt like it was time for me to create a list of my current favorite artists and bands. My taste in music has really changed in the past several years. I am listening to a lot less EBM and post-punk music, and a lot more metal along with Kpop, Jpop, and mandopop, along with rock bands from countries from East Asia and South/Southeast Asia. 

There are so many factors that has led my musical tastes to shift away from the goth/industrial scene, one being repetitiveness in the music and the other really shitty people in the scenes. Considering that Combichrist still has a career and people in the industrial scene has no desire to change when it comes to misogyny and racism, I am a huge pass on that scene and Combichrist's craptastic music in particular. I also have been finding more interesting music from China, Japan, Korea, Vietnam, and the list goes on.

Last month, I decided to start work on a list of my 100 favorite artists and bands that I have been listening to for the past 2-3 years. I recently finished the list. I added labels for artists and bands that are unfamiliar to most readers. Those I don't have a label attached to their name is US or European based. Enjoy!
