Playlist of the Week

Over the weekend, I created a playlist of artists and bands I have seen live or will be seeing live this year. I hate admitting this but Margo Price with Lola Kirke is the only concert I have been to this year. It was a great concert for sure. Fortunately, June will be a lot better. Next month I am seeing the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Cure, and ex-Nightwish singer Tarja Turunen. In August I will be seeing Japanese rock band Band-Maid at the Fillmore, September SKALD when I am in Chicago, and Loreena McKennitt in November. I really wasn't planning on seeing SKALD but when I saw that they were going to be in Chicago during the weekend I am in the windy city for a vacation and a b'day gift to myself, I decided to get a ticket to the show.
