Playlist of the Week

Now that it is December,I can now start making lists and mixes of my favorite music that came out in 2024. I recently put together a playlist of my favorite heavy metal songs that came out in 2024. I will post a finalized version of this mix later this month or early next month. I do have the songs ranked with my top favorite song at number one. 

If it wasn't for my Heavy Metal Queens playlist, my upcoming Spotify Wrapped lists will most likely look a lot different. I created my HMQ mix in October and since then have been listening to a lot of female fronted metal bands. In the process of creating that mix, I discovered some incredible bands from Deathless Legacy to Soulwitch. What led me to create my HMQ mix was because at the time I was listening to Mortemia's "Samurai" featuring Phantom Elite and Exit Eden singer Marina La Torraca. One thing led to another, I fell into the proverbial rabbit hole and my listening habits of lately have been heavy metal, death metal to symphonic metal.
