Album of The Week: Every Open Eye by Chvrches

I am really glad I picked up the new Chvrches album Every Open Eye this past weekend. I have been listening to it every day. The album is one of the best synthpop albums I have heard this year along with The Looking Glass Society by Ashbury Heights, and Dekadenz by Frozen Plasma.

I really like the '80s vibe I heard on Every Open Eye something I didn't hear on the band's previous album The Bones Of What You Believe.  The entire album is infectious and full of energy.  My favorite tracks: "Keep You On My Side", "Empty Threat" and "Bow Down". No dreaded sophomore jinx on Every Open Eye here. If you can find it, I definitely recommend buying the version with the bonus tracks "Get Away", "Follow You", and "Bow Down".
