Earworm of the week

Yesterday I came across this interesting article on the late singer Elizabeth Cotten who wrote the song "Shake Sugaree", a song Rhiannon Giddens covered for her first album Tomorrow is My Turn. I have had this version stuck in my head since I read the article. Rhiannon could sing the phone book and I would still listen. I don't think there is a song that Rhiannon can't cover and not turn it into her own song.  I have included the original below Rhiannon's version. I have read that Elizabeth's granddaughter sang on the song. It is hard not to get this delightful folk song stuck in your head.
