Album of the Week

At the end of December, Netflix released Roald Dahl's Matilda the Musical, starring Alisha Weir (as Matilda), Lashana Lynch as Miss Honey, and Emma Thompson as Agatha Trunchbull.  The movie is based on the Broadway musical that is based on the Roald Dahl's novel. I love the film adaptation and the music. I did listen to the original Broadcast cast soundtrack last week, I will say that not all the songs from the Broadway version of Matilda could not be included into the film. TBH, I prefer the music from the film and that is because of Lashana Lynch with her version of "My House", and the children and their versions of "Bruce", "Still Holding My Hand", and "Revolting Children". The soundtrack is such a joy to listen to when I am working.
