My Favorite Viet New Wave Songs

Off-topic: For anyone wondering where I discover a lot of the bands I have been listening to, asides from Spotify, here are the three metal related pages to check out that isn't Loudwire and Metal Injection, that I absolutely adore and frequent to see whatever metal recommendations they post on FB:

Mediafeeder

Metal has no borders

Unite Asia

TBH, Loudwire and Metal Injection (and Metal Sucks) are terrible media outlets. They focus too much on bands from westernized countries from Europe and America/Canada, and very few from Asia and not enough from Latin America, and barely from Africa. I should also note they don't cover lesser known metal bands in Europe like Deathless Legacy, Eleine, League of Distortion, and Never Obey Again, and especially female fronted metal bands. Those outlets screams whiteness and misogyny to me as a woman of color and metal fan. I prefer sources that features bands that do not have the luxury or have a large audience like say GHOST, Iron Maiden, Sepultura, Metallica, or Judas Priest. I'm not going to get into the 2025 Grammy nominations for Best Metal Performances other than say BORING AND PREDICTABLE!!!!
