Album Of The Week: We Don't Even Live Here
It has been a month and I am still enjoying the hell out of P.O.S's 2012 album We Don't Even Live Here. It is one of my favorite CD purchases that I have bought this year so far. I love the production on the album. The songs are super catchy. The lyrics are described as "anarchist" which I can relate more to than the political themes in Public Enemy's music or the gangster lifestyle in NWA's music. No misogyny here which I appreciate on this album. I like some of NWA and Ice Cube's work but I cringe at the way women are viewed in their music.
