My Current Favorite Songs of the Week

TGIF! For a four day work week, it sure felt more like a five day work week. Here is this week's playlist, most of it is consists of newer songs but I have included some older music. Really been digging the sounds of Vagabon and Lady Midnight this week. Also rediscovered Laura Carbone's second album Empty Sea, absolutely love the title track of the album.

A couple of days ago I came across some beautiful music in the wedding video for the USWNT's Ali Krieger and Ashlyn Harris Our Wedding by Timeline Video Productions. The gorgeous couple got married just days after Christmas, 1) Kina Grannis' beautiful interpretation of "Can't Help Falling in Love" (from the soundtrack to Crazy Rich Asians), and 2) "From Nothing (feat. Echo of Empires)" by composer Generdyn. Both songs took my breath away and they were a perfect match for the footage of Ali and Ashlyn's wedding. I definitely recommend watching the video.
