Album Of The Week: The Story by Brandi Carlile

This weekend I went down to Chicago for a couple of days of rest and relaxation. I went by train. During my journey to Chicago and back to Saint Paul, I brought a few dozen cds to kill time on the train. My favorite album of my entire journey was The Story by singer/songwriter Brandi Carlile (a CD I borrowed from the library). It was the perfect soundtrack to listen to while looking out the window and seeing the scenery or while reading a good book. I particularly love the tracks "The Story" and "Turpentine". The rest of the album is fantastic too. One day I will have to check Brandi out live in concert.
