Album of the week

For the past 4-5 days, I have been listening to Lillian by The Rope, the new album by the popular post-punk Minneapolis band The Rope. The album recently was released (digitally) last month (physical copies not until July according to their bandcamp page). The band's last two releases Water Rising and The Rope are great but Lillian  is by far their best work to date, and certainly one of the best releases I have heard in 2019.
