Album of the week

It has been a couple of weeks since my last Album of the Week post. Here is my current favorite album of the moment Pink Obsession by the post-punk band Saigon Blue Rain  (Ophelia Lecomte and Franck Pelliccioli), who is based in Paris, France. I discovered Saigon Blue Rain last year when I put together my first post-punk/darkwave playlist. The band recently dropped a new album this spring. I have kinda neglected the album for a bit until this past weekend when I started listening to it again especially yesterday when it was raining cats and dogs. The band has a bit of a Cocteau Twin-ish sound with the swirling guitar riffs and ethereal female vocals. If you haven't heard of Saigon Blue Rain, go give their music a listen.
