Album of the week

For the past few days, I have been listening to some really great new music by the likes of Psy'Aviah, Aiboforcen, and La Dame Blanche (aka Yaite Ramos). Choosing this week's album of the week was difficult but in the end I decided to go with the third album Baja el Mismo Cielo by Cuban singer/songwriter and flutist. The music is a fusion of Cubano, dancehall and reggae, hip hop, jazz, and electronica music. The album is such a joy to listen to because the melodies are so infectious  and addictive to listen to, the music is also a nice change of pace from all the post-punk/darkwave/industrial/synthpop music I listen to while at work.
