Album of the week

A few weeks ago, I was perusing the Hennepin County Library's website in search of music and books I might be interested in hearing or reading. While perusing the music selection, I came across the album Vikings Chant by the Scandinavian folk/metal band SKALD. My curiosity was immediately piqued and I requested the album. I finally picked up the album from the library last weekend and have been enjoying it ever since then. You can read about the band in their story in their about section on Facebook. The music reminded me quite a bit like some of the Mongolian folk/metal bands I have been listening to for the last few months except they are Scandinavian. I love this album so much I actually ordered a copy of the album online.
