Album of the week

For this week's album of the week, I opted for the debut album from Indarra, the new musical project by Sue Hutton (formerly of Rhea's Obsession). I discovered the album a month or two ago on Metropolis Records' bandcamp page and saved it to my wish list. The digital release was like two weeks ago and I loved it when I listened to it the first time around.  The music is definitely nothing like Sue's previous band, it is a mix of world, trip hop, ambient, and new age. There is some socially conscious spoken word thrown into the mix here and there. I adore the music. It is perfect music to wind down to after along day at work.
