Album of the week: The Serpent's Egg by Dead Can Dance

For my album of the week, I chose The Serpent's Egg by Dead Can Dance. Ever since I first head the new song The Mountain by Dead Can Dance, I have been binging on their music for nearly a week now. I have been listening a lot to their fourth album The Serpent's Egg (which came out in 1988) on a daily basis even at work, and at the moment it is my favorite Dead Can Dance album as well as my favorite album in the neoclassical/darkwave genre.
